January 21th,2025: Siglent releases SPS6000X Series Wide Range Programmable switching DC Power supply, which includes the SPS6225X, with a rated output of 200V/25A, and the SPS6150X, offering a rated output of 100V/50A. Each unit delivers up to 1.5kW of output power, and multiple units can be connected in parallel to increase total power capacity for high-current applications.
Wide Output Range
Unlike traditional power supplies with a fixed rectangular output range, the SPS6000X Series offers a broader and more flexible combination of voltage and current settings. This enhances power supply utilization and makes the series suitable for a wide range of test scenarios, including new energy systems, industrial automation, power supplies, automotive electronics, LED lighting, laboratories, and more.
Adjustable Output Slope
The SPS6000X Series allows users to customize the voltage and current rise and fall slopes. This feature enables precise testing of a device under test (DUT) during voltage and current transitions, reducing the risk of damage from inrush currents. This capability is particularly useful for testing components like capacitors that absorb strong currents.
List Function for Complex Test
The SPS6000X Series features an intuitive List function that enables users to program complex test sequences by defining step settings, durations, and slopes. It supports up to 50-step sequence editing directly on the device and allows importing List files via USB for advanced multi-step operations.
CV/CC Priority Mode
The SPS6000X series support both constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) priority output modes. In CC priority mode, the output operates in constant current mode first, minimizing the risk of inrush current and voltage overshoot. In CV priority mode, the output voltage quickly stabilizes at the set value. For LED testing, CV mode ensures the output voltage rises smoothly to the forward conduction voltage (Vf), preventing surge currents and voltage overshoots.
Flexible Capacity Expansion
The SPS6000X series supports the parallel connection of a single machine with the same model, up to 5 machines can be connected in parallel, and the output power is extended to 7500W. It is a test instrument with high power density and high flexibility, which is widely used in the design and manufacturing fields of DC power supply components, battery industry, component electronics industry.
Comprehensive Protection Features
The series is equipped with multiple protection mechanisms, including over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), over-temperature protection (OTP), and over-power protection (OPP). In OPP mode, the system limits maximum output power to approximately 102% of the rated value, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

The SPS6000X Series comes standard with USB and LAN communication interfaces, with an optional USB-GPIB module.
