Arbitrary Waveform Generation
The SDG8000A series provides a maximum memory depth of 4 Gpts per channel, supporting waveform playback up to 800 ms even at the maximum sampling rate. It also integrates powerful multi-level waveform sequence playback functions, including Segment, Sequence and Scenario. The instrument comes with 196 built-in arbitrary waveforms covering mathematics, engineering, medical electronics and modulation applications. Users can call preset waveforms directly or customize and edit waveform files to adapt quickly to various test requirements.
Modulation and Vector Signal Generation
The SDG8000A series supports a comprehensive range of analog and digital modulation functions, including AM, DSB-AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, PSK and PWM.
Its vector signal output delivers a modulation bandwidth of up to 2 GHz. When outputting baseband signals and using an external modulator, the signal bandwidth can be extended to 4 GHz, meeting the stringent requirements of wireless communications and RF testing applications.
When paired with the SigIQPro PC software, it further supports I/Q data generation for additional modulation types, including 2ASK, 4ASK, 8ASK, BPSK, QPSK, 8PSK, DBPSK, DQPSK, D8PSK, 8QAM, 16QAM, 32QAM, 64QAM, 128QAM, 256QAM, 2FSK, 4FSK, 8FSK, 16FSK, MSK and MultiTone.

Noise and Special Signal Generation
The SDG8000A not only accurately reproduces standard signals, but also flexibly emulates complex real-world test environments by generating a comprehensive suite of special signals, including noise, multi-pulse, multi-tone, frequency hopping and linear frequency modulation (LFM) signals.
Its high-bandwidth, high-resolution signal generation capability enables engineers to deploy highly realistic test signals as early as the design and verification phases, further enhancing product reliability and immunity to interference.
